Introducing the White Snowbell Tree (Chionanthus pubescens Kunth), an ornamental tree native to Ecuador 🇪🇨 that appears to be covered in snow when in bloom 🤩.

It belongs to the Oleaceae family (the same as olive trees) and is a deciduous tree, which means it loses its leaves in summer, leaving its branches completely covered with these spectacular white flowers in large pompons.

Grown as a solitary tree in gardens and parks, the White Snowbell creates a stunning view that transforms the landscape. A true gem of our flora!

Hello, plant lovers! 👋 Check out this incredible Brasia Wageneri orchid, growing naturally in the trees, exactly where it belongs. This spectacular species is covered in pointed greenish-yellow flowers, often marked with dark spots, looking like something out of a jungle mystery!

Sobralia is a truly captivating orchid genus. You can find many of these beautiful plants growing along the roadside, and sometimes entire mountain slopes are covered with them. Some Sobralia orchids, like Sobralia portillae or hirtzii, can reach enormous sizes. We’ve found plants that are over 3 meters tall! Imagine having one in your backyard—you’d have to admire the flowers from your balcony! It's a lot of fun to admire them in their natural habitat.

Driving along the Amazon basin, we're always on the lookout for incredible plants. Imagine our surprise when we spotted this stunning Oncidium orchid growing right in someone’s yard! We couldn't resist pulling over to take a closer look – it was absolutely breathtaking!

Erycina pusilla growing in-situ often found growing on guava or coffee trees. Its roots are typically exposed to sunlight. This species thrives in environments with high humidity. its always fun to see them during our tours.
