The journey to the summit of Cotopaxi begins with proper acclimatization! 🏔️

Today we hiked Pasochoa Volcano (4,200 m / 13,780 ft), one of the best acclimatization mountains in Ecuador. With an excellent pace, great energy, and spectacular panoramic views of the Avenue of the Volcanoes, our team is taking another important step toward the Cotopaxi Summit (5,897 m / 19,347 ft).

Every meter gained today helps our bodies adapt to the altitude while building confidence for the glacier ahead. Acclimatization is one of the keys to a safe and successful expedition.
