Bird Watching Guide Bird Watching in Mindo by Santos Mr. Santos Patiño is the native & national bird watching guide for La Casa del Camino.

With over fifteen years experience in the field, Mr. Patiño is the president of the Bird Watcher's Association in Mindo. He's responsible for organizing the annual Audobon Christmas Bird Count every December, where Mindo welcomes bird watchers from around the world to take part of the count. When asked what he would like for visitors to our site to remember him by, he mentioned that he is a nature lover and an honorary ranger. He enjoys his job because it's very rewarding.
