When people ask me "Tolo what has been your favorite country to travel in?" I break my answer up into the three distinct categories.
1. The most photogenic. The winner is NEW ZEALAND and through research I have found that millions of others agree.
2. Most versatile. And the winner is Ecuador. It just seems to have everything a traveler would like to explore. It's got a variety of climate zones, diverse landscapes from Andes Mountains vistas to sea level where nice beaches dot the coastline.
Ecuador has many indigenous peoples who look, speak and dress in a multitude of ways. This small country has hot springs, mountain top craters and a fascinating fully restored railroad line.. My list has just scratched the surface.
