At Responsible Travel South America, we believe travel should also help protect the places and species that make our planet extraordinary. 🌎💚

Today, we want to help protect Loma Delgada in Loja, Ecuador: a unique ecosystem of native forests, rivers, waterfalls, caves, and one of the last refuges of the Ecuadorian vizcacha, a species found nowhere else in the world and critically endangered.

This fragile habitat is currently threatened by extractive activities, wildfires, invasive species, and environmental degradation.

That is why we are supporting this initiative alongside Fundación Amazonía Productiva to help conserve this ecosystem before it is too late. 🐾
