Boat-billed Heron

It is a nocturnal bird, and breeds semicolonially in mangrove trees, laying two to four bluish-white eggs in a twig nest.

Boat-billed herons feed on small mammals, amphibians, annelids, molluscs, insects, crabs and shrimps.

Is a species of tropical bird found in swamps, riparian forests, and mangroves of the Amazon It is notable for having chicks that possess claws on two of their wing digits.

It is the only member of the genus Opisthocomus. The taxonomic position of this family has been greatly debated, and is still far from clear.

Black Anaconda
Eunectes murinus

They are in the largest family of snakes and they are found in the tropical South America. We were exploring the black water lake and we approached to the vegetation on the edge of the lake searching for caimans and anacondas then we had this gigantic surprise; a black anaconda 6 m. long (19ft).
