Once again ... delayed pics from an awesome tour in june with Samson So and Ecotraveler Ecuador. I hope we get many more great journeys like this one... Cloud Forests, the high Andes, the slopes and the Amazon rainforest full of life and amazing colours.

June was a fabulous month of work and just now I've been able to finalize processing the few pics I got with my simple bridge camera. Here, you can enjoy some of my captures through a 15 day private tour with 2 avid photographers from Singapore.

Violet-belied Hummingbird (Chlorestes julie)

One of those flying jewels that (even in a close-up picture) are difficult to fully capture all of its glittering beauty and magnificent presence.
With a distribution between Panama and Ecuador, this wonderful hummingbird is one of my favorites.

One of those uncommon gems of the forest, this tanager can be sighted following mixed flocks and rarely visits feeders.

One of those easily overlooked dwellers of the forest, often sitting quietly at low levels on the search for insects, it shall display its white whiskers when encounters another bird of the same kind.
