"Buenos días. Son las 8am , una hora menos en Galápagos"... Es una frase típica que solemos escuchar en algunos medios de comunicación. Ocurre lo mismo en España con las islas Canarias.

Esto ocurre porque ambos países tienen población más allá de su territorio continental, viviendo con una hora de diferencia.

🐶✨ A heartwarming story from Shakira’s visit to Ecuador!

The puppy “Quito”, with white fur and brown ears, was adopted by Carson, a member of Shakira’s team, during their stay in Ecuador.

The encounter happened backstage, where a local animal shelter had brought several dogs to give the technical staff a relaxing moment. Carson instantly fell in love with one of them — a sweet puppy with white fur and brown ears — and decided to take him home. He named him “Quito” in honor of the city where his new life began.

The animal welfare organization confirmed that all the paperwork is complete so the puppy can travel to the United States, where he’ll live with his new owner.
💬 “Now he begins his new life in the U.S. Thank you for opening your heart and supporting ACCIÓN ANIMAL ECUADOR,” they shared on Instagram.
