In other versions, the carving may appear narrower or elongated, and the engraving might be deeper than it should be. The leather patch beneath the logo is perfectly square on the original and stitched with care, while irregular shapes or uneven stitching are important details to watch for.
Now check the straps. Loewe uses textured calfskin that’s grainy, durable, and scratch-resistant. If the surface looks overly smooth or the material seems prone to peeling, take a closer look. The stitch securing the strap is another key indicator—on the real tote, it’s firmly and neatly applied.
Next, examine the metal anagram detail. The original hardware has a consistent size and refined engravings that match the brand’s design standards. Any differences in alignment, size, or carving detail are worth noticing.
Finally, focus on the font. Authentic Loewe lettering is cleanly engraved, with sharp edges and strong visibility.
