تصور هذه اللوحة المنحوتة الملك رمسيس الأول، مؤسس الأسرة التاسعة عشر، يقف أمام المعبود ست، معبود الصحراء، يقدم له القرابين.
ويُمسك ست علامة عنخ "الحياه" في يد، وعلامة واس "الصولجان" في الأخرى.
جاءت عائلة رمسيس الأول من منطقة أفاريس بالدلتا وكانوا يبجلون المعبود ست، فقام ملوك فترة الرعامسة باتخاذ اسمه، ومنهم الملك ستي الأول ابن الملك رمسيس الأول.
This beautifully carved lunette stela depicts the New Kingdom ruler Ramses I standing before Avaris’ principal deity, Seth.
The young ruler, and the founder of Dynasty 19, presents offerings , to the god of the desert, Seth.
Seth is holding an ankh in one hand, and a scepter in the other.
Ramses I hailed from a family originating in Avaris with strong ties to the priesthood of Seth.
