Mohamed Serageldin is Mazar's founder and tour guide.

Mohamed earned his BS in Mechanical Engineering from Boston University but is now working as an entrepreneur.
In line with his passion to provide practical spiritual counseling using the infinite wisdom and insights of the Qur'an, Mohamed ventured to Egypt in order to study the Islamic Sciences and particularly to complete his memorization of the Qur'an and the Science of Tajweed.

Mohamed's journey began at a time of great turmoil in the country and region and navigating throughout the Cairene canopy of saints was a hobby that helped him uncover jewels and treasures slowly fading from the consciousness of the Muslim world. Mohamed wishes to share this with others.

He currently teaches Arabic and Qur'an at a vibrant Zawiyah in Cairo to students from all over the world.
