The museum’s CEO; Dr. Ahmed Ghoneim announced in a local talk show on Monday.
Ghoneim mentioned that plans are in motion for the grand opening ceremony, featuring a series of events that highlight Egypt’s rich cultural heritage.

Egypt cancels pre-entry visa requirements for Canadians.

Canadian travelers will soon have the option to obtain a visa upon arrival at Egyptian airports, along with the reactivation of the electronic visa (E-VISA) application process, according to the statement. This change will apply to all Canadian citizens arriving in Egypt beginning December 1, 2024, as per the Egyptian Foreign statement.

Egypt’s tourism stronger than ever!

The Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities reported that Egypt hosted 7.069 million tourists from January to June 2024, slightly surpassing the previous record of 7.062 million tourists in the same timeframe last year, marking a 0.1 percent increase from 2023 and a 2.4 percent rise from 2010.
