NUBIA SEA AND EGYPT
ITINERARY BASED ON FRIDAY ARRIVAL TO CAIRO

Day 01: ...... / Cairo
Flight arrival to Cairo. Visa and customs procedures with assistance from our representative. Transfer to hotel. Accommodation. (-, -, -)
Day 02: Cairo
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to Giza Plateau and tour the whole forming the pyramids of Cheops, Chephren and Menkaure, pharaohs of Dynasty IV. Symbol of Egyptian culture, are located in the city limits, on the edge of the desert. Along with the Sphinx and the Valley Temple, which also will visit, they are considered as the last vestige of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. In the afternoon, possibility of an optional excursion to Memphis, the first capital of ancient Egypt and the archaeological site of Sakkara, which include the funerary complex of the pharaoh Zoser with its Step Pyramid, the court Heb Seb and mastabas of the old Empire. Day 03: Cairo
Breakfast. Day dedicated to the visit of Cairo including: the Archaeological Museum with the worldwide collection of Tutankhamen, The Citadel of Saladin with the Alabaster Mosque, the Coptic Quarter with its churches and synagogues, ending the tour at the Bazar Khan El Khalili. Accommodation. (B, -, -)
Day 04: Cairo - Aswan
Breakfast. Transfer to airport for flight to Aswan. Arrival.
Transfer to the pier, south of the Aswan High Dam and boarding on the motor vessel aboard which the cruise will take place on Lake Nasser. Free afternoon with possibility to visit the Nubian Museum. Lunch and dinner on board. (B, L, D)
Day 05: Aswan - Kalabsha - Wadi El Seboua
Breakfast on board. Visit Kalabsha Temple, Beit El Wali and Kertassi: The temple of Kalabsha is the largest of Nubia after Abu Simbel Temples. It is dedicated to the god Mandolis. Kiosk Kertassi is considered the "Gem of Nubia". The Temple of Beit El Wali is a memorial chapel by Ramses II. After these back to the boat and start sailing to Wadi El Seboua visits. Lunch and dinner on board. (B, L, D)
Day 06: Wadi El Seboua - Amada - Kasr Ibrim
Breakfast on board. Visit the Temples of Wadi el Seboua, El Dakka and Maharakka grouped west of the lake. Wadi el Seboua means "Valley of the lions" due to dromo with sphinxes preceding the temple. The Dakka, built by Ptolemy II Philadelphus commissioned by the Ethiopian king Arkamani is dedicated to Tot and has a classic architectural structure. Maharakka temple, which is only the pillared hall was dedicated to Serapis and Isis. Next to the temples of Amada, which consist of two temples and a tomb: Amada temple with its delicate and unique reliefs; the Derr, an ancient city of Lower Nubia where Ramses II made build a rock temple; Tomb Pennut, governor of the region in time of Ramses VI. Day 07: Kasr Ibrim - Abu Simbel
Breakfast on board. Explanation from the boat deck Kasr Ibrim Memorial, fortified main square where resided the viceroy of Kush, appointed by the pharaohs of the New Kingdom.
Sail to Abu Simbel. Lunch. In the afternoon visit the two magnificent cave temples built by Ramses II, whose structures are causing the admiration of the world. In the sanctuary of the Templo Mayor, are the four statues of the pharaoh surrounded by gods, which twice a year only, are illuminated by sunlight. The temple is dedicated to Queen Nefertari, beloved wife of Pharaoh. Return to the boat. Dinner on board. Assistance Sound and Light show at the temples of Abu Simbel. (B, L, D)
Day 08: Abu Simbel - Aswan
Breakfast and disembarkation. Worth getting up early to see the facade of the temple illuminated by the first rays of the sun. At the time transfer to Abu Simbel airport and flight to Aswan. On arrival, transfer to the dock and board the motor vessel aboard which the cruise will take place on the Nile. Lunch on board. In the afternoon also you enjoy a felucca ride (or motor) on the Nile with a panoramic view to the Elephantine Islands and the botanical garden.

Day 09: Aswan - Kom Ombo - Edfu
Breakfast on board. Visit the Aswan High Dam, located south of the city, it was completed in 1972 and meant a whole industrial revolution in Egypt. It is considered one of the masterpieces of modern engineering. Then transfer to the Pink Granite Quarry where the Unfinished Obelisk, daunting. It shows in situ as the ancient Egyptians worked the carving of these huge monoliths. Transfer to Philae Temple, domain of the goddess Isis and visit the site. Return to the boat and lunch. Sail to Kom Ombo. Stop and walking tour of the temple situated on a hill. It is dedicated to two divinities: Sobek, the crocodile god, god of fertility, and Haroeris, the great winged sun disk. It is a truly unique monument for its location and its architecture. Seduces travelers for its aspect of "romantic ruins", enhanced by its location on a small promontory, where the curve made by the Nile River in this area of the country dominates. Sail to Edfu. Day 10: Edfu - Luxor
Breakfast on board. Transfer buggies (-caballo car) to the Temple of Edfu. Dedicated to the falcon god Horus, it is considered the best preserved
Egypt and second in size after the Temple of Karnak. Its good condition can better understand the organization of other Egyptian temples. Return to the boat. Lunch on board. Sail to Luxor crossing Esna Lock. In the case of arriving soon to Luxor to visit the monuments of Karnak be held, with its impressive pillared hall consists of 134 columns. Another great artistic beauty lies in the interior and exterior decoration of the walls, based offerings and consecrations, and descriptions of battles and conquests. Day 11: Luxor - Thebes Necropolis - Esna - Edfu
Breakfast and disembarkation. Transfer to the west bank of the Nile to visit the Necropolis of Thebes: Valley of the Kings, which shelters the fabulous tombs of the pharaohs of the New Kingdom; Valley of the Queens, which houses the tombs of royal wives, princes and princesses of the New Kingdom; the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir El Bahary, perfectly integrated into its surroundings and great originality, comprising a series of horizontal plans or terraces harmoniously opposed to the verticality of the rocky wall. (Alternatively, you could visit the complex of Medinet Habu, Medinet Habu whose architectural design and its more than 7000 square meters of icnográficas representations have greatly helped to understand the concept of such temples).
