Be inspired on Mount Sinai, Egypt
A crowd of pilgrims, travellers and Bedouin guides gather atop Mount Sinai every night in preparation for one of the most inspiring sunrises imaginable. Wrap up and hunker down to watch as the rose-tinted light steals across the desert, picking out each rock formation and turning the terrain fiery-red.

The Tomb of Amunherkhepshef

The Egyptian prince was the son of Ramesses VI and Queen Nubkhesbed. Amunherkhepshef lived during the twentieth dynasty and buried in the reused sarcophagus of Twosret in the Valley of Kings. The Valley is the resting place constructed for Pharaohs and powerful nobels. It stands on the west bank of the Nile, opposite of Thebes and contains 63 tombs, of which the most notable is the tomb of Tutankhamun.

Siwa
once the most mysterious of all Egypt's oases, is also the most fascinating. It's history has not only been shaped by all major civilizations, but also by the contrast of the surrounding desert with the lush soil of the oasis setting.
The Siwan people have their own culture and customs and, as well as speaking Arabic, we speak own Berber (Amazigh) language. Women still wear traditional costumes and silver jewelers and Siwa remains one of the best places to buy traditional local handicrafts.
The modern town of Siwa is set among thick palm groves, walled gardens and olive orchards, with numerous freshwater springs and salt lakes. Siwa also clusters beneath the impressive remains of the ancient fortress town of Shali.
Come and experience the delights that Siwa has to offer. Climb through the ruins of the old city for magnificent views of the whole oasis. Walk, hire a bicycle or ride in a caretta (donkey cart) to outlying sights and bathing places. Take a dip in one of the many cool and refreshing springs. Taste traditional Siwan foods. Enjoy a truly unforgettable and unique cultural experience.
Juba Bath (Cleopatra Bath)
Another favorite bathing spot for locals and tourists is Fatnas Island, located on the salt lake of Birket Siwa, surrounded by palm trees and beautiful scenery.

Karnak temple
Karnak is one of the most important tourist attractions in Egypt, already recognised on the World Heritage List as part of the ensemble of Ancient Thebes with its Necropolis, listed in 1979 under criteria (i), (iii) and (iv). Hundreds of people visit the site every day and attend the light and sound spectacle offered on site every night. Most of the complex is accessible. The SCA authorities have permitted small New Age groups to hold ceremonies in some of the smaller and more isolated shrines of the complex, such as the temple of Ptah.

Diving
Egypt's Red Sea has some of the best scuba diving in the world, and people come from everywhere to explore the underwater wonders, including pristine reefs and many shipwrecks.
Most destinations for scuba diving are the same as for beach vacations. In Sharm el-Sheik, Taba, Dahab and Nuweiba in Sinai On the western Red Sea coast El Gouna, Hurghada, Soma Bay and Safaga on the Red Sea coast, one will always find dive shops as well as great places to dive.
We have also found that many people come to Egypt to receive either initial or advanced diving training. Obviously, scuba diving holidays can and usually do involve an element of a standard beach vacation, and most everything pointed out above about beach vacations can be applicable to a scuba diving vacation.

Abu Simbel
is an archaeological site comprising two massive rock temples in the most southern part of Egypt on the western bank of Lake Nasser about 290 km southwest of Aswan. It is part of the UNESCO World Heritage known as the "Rescued Nubian Monuments".
The twin temples were originally carved out of the mountainside during the reign of Pharaoh Ramesses II in the 13th century BC, as a lasting monument to himself and his queen Nefertari, to commemorate his alleged victory at the Battle of Kadesh, and to intimidate his Nubian neighbors.
The relocation of the temples was necessary to avoid being submerged by the water of Lake Nasser, the massive artificial water reservoir formed after the building of the Aswan dam on the Nile River. Abu Simbel remains one of Egypt's top tourist attractions.
