Recently, a team of scientists and researchers from Japanese universities and the Egyptian National Institute for Astronomical and Geophysical Research announced the discovery of a massive structure buried beneath the sands near the Great Pyramid in the western cemetery of the Giza Plateau. This structure was identified using rock-penetrating radar devices, tomography, and ground-penetrating scanning during a study conducted from 2021 to 2023. According to the research report published two days ago, the structure appears to consist of several peculiar objects believed to be vertical limestone walls or possibly columns leading to the entrance of an ancient and unidentified tomb.
The mysterious structure, as revealed by the geophysical survey conducted on the soil of the area, resembles the shape of an L, with a length of about one meter and a width of approximately 15 meters. It is situated at a depth of around two meters, and up to now, no one is certain about its exact nature.
What makes this discovery even more intriguing is the fact that the official narrative attributes the construction of the Great Pyramid to King Khufu around 5000 years ago. Yet, to this day, no concrete evidence has been found inside the pyramid, apart from a single statuette measuring approximately 9 centimeters in height. Could it be possible that the great king who built such a legendary monument as the pyramid had no burial chambers or significant statues, except for one tiny figurine?
Regardless of the connection, if any, between the enigmatic buried structure next to the pyramid and Khufu, whether it serves as an entrance to a different tomb, a hidden passage to the pyramid itself from millennia ago, we unfortunately have to wait for the official announcement of the excavation and exploration results in this area.
Do you wonder about the mysterious secret that has been buried there for thousands of years? Does it challenge the conventional narrative taught in schools about the pyramid's construction, or will it unveil a historical revelation that could revolutionize the field of ancient Egyptian archaeology, altering our current understanding of its origins?
