President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi welcomed Mr.Manfredi Lefebvre d’Ovidio, Chairman of the World Travel & Tourism Council, alongside a distinguished delegation of global tourism leaders, including senior representatives from both the public and private sectors.
The meeting highlighted the importance of strengthening collaboration between Egypt and the WTTC to further support tourism growth and long-term sustainability.
This visit coincides with the Council’s flagship “Global Tourism Leaders’ Leadership Journey,” hosted in Egypt with the participation of 270 top executives from leading international travel and tourism organizations. The journey includes a cruise through the Suez Canal and several key destinations, showcasing the richness and diversity of Egypt’s tourism offering.
The event reflects strong international confidence in Egypt’s tourism sector, its continued development, and its position as a preferred global destination. It also reinforces Egypt’s commitment to attracting increased investment and achieving its target of 30 million visitors annually.
