Clean - Up Trip
White Desert
27.04.– 01.05.2012
Dear Guests and Desert Lovers,
Every Year Al Hayah Development Association in collaboration with the White Desert Foundation initiates an environment project to clean up the Protected Area of the White Desert from the campers’ leftovers and the garbage scattered through stormy seasons. Badawiya Expedition Travel organizes 5 days environment trip to serve this project.
We would like to announce that the environment trip for this year will take place from:
Friday 27th of April until Tuesday 1st of May 2012
The Program
27.04 Pick up at 08:00 hrs at the British Council, drive to Farafra
Oasis (560 km) by minibus. Meet the jeeps at the meeting point.
Drive to the White Desert, dinner and overnight at the fixed camp.
28.04 After breakfast, the groups will be divided to clean the
desert (no fixed program), lunch, dinner and camping.
29.04 After breakfast, cleaning the white desert, lunch, dinner and
camping.
30.04 After breakfast, cleaning the white desert, lunch, dinner and
camping.
01.05 After breakfast we drive back to Cairo and arrival at the British
Council around sunset.
The participants are required to pay LE 700 to cover the expenses
for the trip and as a contribution to the project.
The package includes:
- Transportation
- Food & beverage (all inclusive), except lunch on the 1st and last day, it is optional.
- Mattresses & blankets
- Tents (we will need to know how many tent required)
- Sleeping bags (we will need to know how many required)
General Info:
- Meeting point is by the British Council (192, El Nil St., Agouza),
- The buses will leave at 8:00 hrs.
- Guests, who wish to drive with their private cars, can park them
at El Badawiya Hotel parking and join the group from there.
- Rubber gloves and garbage bags will be handed out for cleaning.
- The temperature will be approx. 25° – 35˚ during the day and approx.15˚ at
night.
- Showers and toilets will be available at the camp.
Notify us by email latest by 20.04.012 with all required info.
Copy of ID/Passports (to be sent as an email attachment).
Egyptians and Residents are kindly asked to settle the payment at Maadi office latest by 21.04.012 (please arrange an appointment with us!).
Foreigners are kindly asked to pay the total amount cash at meeting point on 27.04.2010.
In case of cancellation:

No refund can be made after payment was settled
