Egypt’s expanding tourism infrastructure—including new hotels, airport development, high-speed rail, and the opening of the Grand Egyptian Museum—reflects the country’s long-term vision for sustainable tourism growth.

Hosting this historic event on the Suez Canal sent a powerful message of resilience, international cooperation, and Egypt’s rising leadership in the future of global travel.

Saqqara’s New Old Kingdom archaeological discoveries:

Recent excavations at Saqqara have uncovered several Old Kingdom tombs belonging to high-ranking officials and priests.

Archaeologists discovered beautifully preserved statues, including limestone and wooden figurines dating back over 4,000 years.

A newly found chamber revealed hieroglyphic inscriptions that provide fresh insight into Old Kingdom religious practices.

Excavators also uncovered daily-life artifacts such as pottery, tools, and offering tables, shedding light on elite life in Saqqara.

These discoveries enrich our understanding of Old Kingdom administration and expand the map of Saqqara’s vast necropolis.

🇪🇬✨文化机构新时代的开启：大埃及博物馆（GEM）作为“社会基础设施”！

大埃及博物馆的开幕，不只是为旅游地图添上一座美丽建筑，而是让我们重新思考——博物馆在生活中的意义是什么？
