في عيد الأب، نستحضر مكانة الأب في مصر القديمة، حيث أولى المصري القديم الأسرة اهتمامًا كبيرًا، وظهرت صورة الأب في العديد من النقوش والتماثيل والنصوص التي وثّقت دوره في الرعاية والتوجيه ونقل المعرفة عبر الأجيال.
وتُظهر مشاهد الحياة اليومية على جدران المقابر والمعابد روابط أسرية قوية، عكست القيم التي قامت عليها الأسرة المصرية، والتي ظلت جزءًا أصيلًا من المجتمع عبر آلاف السنين.
