Patient Relations Specialist
We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Patient Relationship Specialist. As a vital member of our healthcare organization, you will be responsible for cultivating and maintaining positive relationships with our patients, ensuring their experience is exceptional from the moment they enter our facility.
Responsibilities:
1. Patient Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for patients, providing personalized support and guidance throughout their healthcare journey. This includes greeting patients, answering inquiries, and addressing concerns in a professional and empathetic manner.
2. Relationship Building: Develop strong rapport with patients to foster trust and loyalty. Proactively identify opportunities to exceed patient expectations and enhance their overall experience.
3. Patient Advocacy: Serve as an advocate for patients, ensuring their needs are met and their voices are heard. Collaborate with healthcare providers and staff to address any issues or challenges that may arise, working towards swift resolutions.
4. Feedback and Surveys: Collect patient feedback through surveys or other means, analyzing the data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
5. Customer Service Excellence: Deliver exceptional customer service at all times, demonstrating a deep understanding of patient needs and concerns. Provide accurate and timely information, demonstrating professionalism and empathy in every interaction.
Requirements:
-Bachelor’s degree (preferred social worker or faculty of tourism and hospitality management).
- Previous experience in a customer service or patient relation role within the healthcare industry is preferred.(at least one year)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse individuals.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to handle difficult situations with empathy and professionalism.
- Proficiency in using various computer systems and electronic medical record (EMR) software.
- High attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends, as needed.

2. Patient access senior specialist:
A leading healthcare organisation is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Patient Access Senior Specialist. As a Patient Access Senior Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless and efficient patient access to healthcare services. This is a critical role that requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of the healthcare industry.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee the patient access process, including pre-registration, insurance verification, and scheduling appointments.
2. Collaborate with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and patients to resolve any access-related issues or concerns.
3. Develop and implement strategies to improve patient access, streamline processes, and enhance overall efficiency.
4. Train and mentor junior staff members to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
5. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes in healthcare regulations to ensure compliance and optimize patient access services.
6. Analyze data and generate reports to monitor key performance indicators and identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree (preferred faculty of tourism and hospitality management).
2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in patient access or a similar role.
3. Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, billing and insurance procedures.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare providers.
5. Proficiency in using healthcare management systems and software applications.
6. Proven track record of successfully managing projects and leading teams.
7. Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and problem-solving abilities.
8. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
