Nile ICT Systems is hiring a Presales Engineer for a full-time job on-site in our office in Cairo, Egypt.
Responsibilities:
-Gather, assess, and understand customer requirements from both a business and technical perspective.
-Design effective solutions with a focus on client needs, combining technical and business relevance.
-Provide network solution design and consulting to customers and in-house teams, including Presales, Sales, Installation, and Service teams.
-Demonstrate networking products/solutions and conduct Proof-of-Concept (PoC).
-Build trusted technical advisor relationships with customers and internal teams.
-Lead meetings and present network infrastructure solution designs to prospective customers.
-Develop solution architecture, detailed equipment lists (BoM), build presentations, and review and respond to TOR/REF/RFI documents.
-Collaborate with local distributors to deliver solutions to customers.
-Work with vendors to validate solutions, create detailed reports, and obtain the best prices.
Qualifications:
-Bachelor's degree in Computer or Communication Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
-Minimum 8 years of experience in a network infrastructure role such as Presales, Post-Sales, Installation Engineer, or a related field.
-Minimum 8 years of work period in the same field with the required systems
-Strong understanding of network architectures and solutions.
-Self-motivated with the ability to learn and stay updated on new trends and technologies.
-Flexible and able to work effectively in a team environment.
-Direct experience with Cisco, Aruba, Huawei, Fortinet, Dell, and other network infrastructure technologies (e.g., routing/switching, wireless LAN controllers, software-defined networks, firewalls, security solutions, servers, storage).
-CCNA and CCNP certifications are required.
-Good knowledge of cybersecurity.
