Belly dance, with its ancient roots, reminded us of softness and strength, of grounding and freedom, of the beauty in returning home to our bodies.

Yesterday, we gathered for our last Ashtanga yoga class with Ziad Amr this month.

It was a grounding and energizing practice that reminded us why these evenings became such a special part of our weeks.

Thank you, Ziad, for sharing your energy, dedication, and guidance with the Sawa community. We are truly sad to see this series come to an end, but we carry its calm strength forward.

This may have been the last session for now, but perhaps the mat will call us back together again in the future.

كل مرة كنا بنبدأ ونختم بحس سلام وطاقة مختلفة، وزياد كان دايمًا سبب الإلهام ده.

شكرًا يا زياد على وقتك وروحك وتوجيهك لينا. إحنا زعلانين إن دي آخر جلسة دلوقتي، لكن اكيد الطريق هيجمعنا تاني قريب.

Yesterday at the house, we flowed gently with the breath, grounded into the earth, and gave our bodies space to soften.

Led with care and presence by Ziad Amr, our first Hatha Yoga session brought calm back into the body.

We’ll meet again next Wednesday, same time, same softness. You’re welcome to join.

‎وقفنا الشغل في “سوا” الفترة اللي فاتت…
‎مش لأن الحلم انتهى،
‎لكن لأننا كنا بندوّر على بيت يقدر يحتويه.

‎البيت اللي نقدر فيه نبني المساحة
‎اللي نرجع لها وإحنا حقيقيين… ومستعدين.

‎بهدوء، خطوة بخطوة، اتجهز.
‎عشان نرجع لكم بمكان مليان روح، وفن، وحكايات.
