Scene 1: The Coffee Shop
(Morning sunlight filters into a small café. Amara sits at a table with her laptop open but untouched. She looks tired. Tobi walks in, cheerful but loud.)
TOBI: (grinning) Amara! You’re still in your ghostwriting world, abi? Another “invisible success” today?
AMARA: (smiles faintly) Something like that. I’m working on a client’s story… it’s their success journey. Meanwhile, mine feels like it’s still loading.
TOBI: (sits across) Ah! You and this dreamer life. You should just write for yourself or open a real business. All these dreams don’t pay rent o.
AMARA: (quietly) But writing is my business. I tell people’s stories. I help them sound real, powerful… even if they never know my name.
TOBI: (shrugs) Invisible effort doesn’t feed you, my friend. You’re too talented to hide behind other people’s names.
AMARA: Maybe. But I believe some dreams grow best in silence.
(Tobi laughs softly and shakes his head. Kemi walks in, colorful sketchbook in hand.)
KEMI: (excited) Guys! Guess what? I just sold my first art piece online!
AMARA: (smiles) See? I told you your art would travel far. Congratulations!
TOBI: Hmm. Maybe you should teach Amara how to sell her words like you sell your art.
KEMI: (grinning) Everyone’s path shines differently, Tobi. Some stars glow loudly, some quietly — but both still light the sky.
AMARA: (softly) Exactly.
