لأول مرة منذ 3300 سيتم عرض تابوت الملك توت عنخ أمون فى المتحف المصرى الكبير
أول مرة يظهر التابوت للنور كان وقت اكتشاف المقبرة عام 1922 وظل بمكانه الأصلى ولا يراه الا زوار المقبرة بوادى الملوك بالأقصر
عام 2019 تم نقل التابوت الى معامل الترميم بالمتحف المصرى الكبير لعمل اللازم تمهيدا لعرضه ف المتحف ولأول مرة ضمن كنوز توت عنخ أمون التى يزيد عددها عن 5000 قطعة فريدة
نوفمبر 2025 ان شاء الله يستطيع العالم مشاهدة تحفة فنية مذهلة لأول مرة بالمتحف المصرى الكبير ولم تعرض بأى متحف من قبل

For the first time in 3,300 years, the incredible gilded coffin of King Tutankhamun will be on display at the Grand Egyptian Museum.
The coffin has been discovered in 1922. It remained in its original location, visible only to visitors of the tomb in the Valley of the Kings in Luxor.
In 2019, the coffin was transferred to the Grand Egyptian Museum's restoration labs for special restoration in preparation for its display at the museum, as part of Tutankhamun's treasures, which number more than 5,000 unique pieces.
In November 2025, the world will be able to see this stunning masterpiece for the first time at the Grand Egyptian Museum, one that has never been displayed in any museum before.

Mummy of Queen Nodjmet
The mummy of Queen Nodjmet was found in the Deir el-Bahari Royal Cachette (DB320). The mummy had been given artificial eyes, made of white and black stones. The eyebrows are real hair and she wears a wig. Her body and parts of her face were colored to give her a more lively appearance.

Nodjmet was an ancient Egyptian noble lady of the late 20th Dynasty or early 21st Dynasty of Egypt, the wife of Herihor, High Priest of Amun at Thebes. She may have been a daughter of Ramesses XI. Early in her life, she held titles such as Lady of the House and Chief of the Harem of Amun.
