I would like to ask my readers to take a small survey to determine travellers requirements to Egypt. Please read the following information:
As you may already be aware, that Charter flights fly direct from the UK and other European countries into the Red Sea Resorts of Hurghada and Sharm El Sheikh and also Luxor.
This of course means a saving on schedules more expensive flights which only go from the Hub airports such as Heathrow in UK.
Therefore the charters fly out of several UK and smaller Airports around Europe saving you money for other things whilst on your holiday.
Many travellers these days do not always want to stay in Hotels and prefer private rented accommodations which are not always advertised in the locations you wish to travel to.
Hurghada is well known for 'All -Inclusive' yet lower standard with a large percentage of Russian visitors (not always popular with other Europeans).
However, it is possible to arrange private accommodations in Hurghada, with options to visit Luxor by day trips, and also Cairo, with return to Hurghada for sea and relaxation along with other activities.
So the questions are:
1 - Would you prefer to rent your own private apartment in Hurghada?
2 - Would you be interested in Day tours to Luxor and / or Cairo?
3 - There is also the opportunity to take a Nile cruise from Luxor to Aswan and return to Hurghada if you are on more than a week's stay. Is that of interest to you?
Thank you for your cooperation and I look forward to hearing from you.

Located around the Table Top Mountain of Dakhla Oasis, are the remains of what can be considered one of the more macabre tourist attractions in Egypt. It is still open to visitors and people are still allowed to get close to the skeleton remains of what was once a community of families.

Hidden from the usual tourists sites, is delightful Wadi Natrun with it's ancient Monasteries dating back from the 4th Century. It was an area where the Coptic Christians settled from many lands including such as Syria and others on the Silk Road trail. With at least 7 Monasteries still in tact and a real treasure for History buffs.
