Your hotel balcony is the worst seat in the house tonight. 🌠
The Perseid meteor shower is peaking over the Red Sea, and this year there's no moon — the sky stays properly black. From the beach you'll catch five or six meteors an hour. Thirty minutes into the desert, past the last streetlight, the Milky Way turns into a visible band across the sky and the count climbs towards a hundred an hour.
