In preparation for the official opening of the Grand Egyptian Museum
- ⁠The museum to be closed from June 15 to July 5.
- ⁠A number of organizational and logistical works are being carried
out inside the museum.

Statement issued by the Ministry of Tourism & Antiquities:
As part of the final preparations for the official opening of the Grand Egyptian Museum, scheduled for July 3, the museum will be temporarily closed from June 15 to July 5.

During this period, the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities will carry out a number of organizational and logistical works inside the museum.

Role Overview:
As a Tour Operator, you will be responsible for organizing, coordinating, and leading tours for our clients.
You’ll use your expertise to craft itineraries, ensure smooth travel logistics, and deliver a high-quality service that exceeds customer expectations.
You will work closely with clients, vendors, and the operations team to ensure each tour is executed flawlessly.

Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and organize tours: Develop detailed itineraries that include transportation, accommodations, activities, and meals. Tailor trips based on client preferences, interests, and budgets.
• Coordinate logistics: Secure bookings with hotels, transportation providers, tour guides, and other vendors. Ensure that all logistical aspects of the tour run smoothly.
• Customer service: Maintain strong relationships with clients before, during, and after their trips. Resolve any issues or concerns in a timely manner.
• Marketing and promotion: Assist with promoting new tour packages, gathering customer feedback, and suggesting improvements to existing offerings.
• Stay updated on travel trends: Research and recommend new destinations, experiences, and activities to enhance our tour offerings.

Qualifications:
• Experience: 2+ years as a Tour Operator or in a similar role within the travel or hospitality industry.
• Skills:
o Strong organizational and time management skills.
o Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
o Ability to adapt to changing schedules and manage logistics under pressure.
o Familiarity with travel booking systems and software.
o Multilingual skills are a plus (depending on the destinations served).
• Passion for Travel: A love for exploring new places and sharing those experiences with others.
• Physical fitness: Ability to lead walking tours and manage some physically demanding tasks (lifting luggage, walking on uneven terrain, etc.).

The halls are divided into three main themes: Kingship, Society, and Beliefs. You can discover how these elements shaped the lives of ancient Egyptians. Please note that the Tutankhamun Galleries will remain closed until the official opening.
