Al-Muizz Li-Din Allah Al-Fatimi Street, or simply "Al-Muizz Street", is the heart of old Cairo, full of history and beauty. History of Al-Muizz Street:
The history of Al-Muizz Street dates back to the era of the Fatimid state in Egypt, where it was planned to be the main street in Fatimid Cairo.
The street was previously known as "Al-Aazam Street" or "Casbah of Cairo", and its name was changed to Al-Muizz Street in 1937 in honor of the Fatimid Caliph Al-Muizz Li-Din Allah.
The street has witnessed many historical events throughout the ages, and witnessed the succession of different Islamic states that ruled Egypt.
