Al-sultan hassn Who was the son of al nasser muhammed son of al-mansour Qalawoon.
It was established in the 14th century in the reign of the bahari mamluks .
Its consisted of four iwans for teaching the four islamic sections hanfi,hanbali,shafei and maleki and also for teaching the holly quaran.

The mosque of Amr ibn Al-As or Taj al-jawame or Masjid Ahl Al-rayah or Al jame al-ateeq.the original structure is the first mosque built ever in egypt and the whole africa ,it was originally built in 641 /642 AH as the center of the newly founded capital of egypt al-fustat which was the site of the tent of the commander of the muslim army general Amr Ibn Al-As,due to the extensive reconstructions no thing from the original structure remains but it was rebuilt to can be seen in what today known as old cairo and its an active mosque open to the visitors and tourists while the prayers not taking place .🕌
