- The White Canyon and Ein Hodra
Midway to Saint Catherine's monastery, around 27 kms (30 minutes) from Nuweibaa city, the beautiful white canyon can be found. Crossing the white canyon on foot (3 kms/20-25 minutes) will carry you to the beautiful location of Ein Hodra (it can also be reached entirely by car away from the canyon, adding one more hour [17 kms] to the trip).
Ein Hodra is a beautiful palm tree oasis, where water comes out from the ground creating a natural swimming pool. Three bedouin families reside in the Ein that offer huts for overnight stays, bedouin lunches and dinners, lovely handmade bedouin work for purchase and unforgettable stargazing experiences. Round trips are also available.

- The Coloured Canyon
Located 30 kms off the Taba-Nuweibaa road, the coloured canyon is a popular destination among hikers and adventure-seekers. The canyon is well-recognized for its vast space, mesmerising rock formations/colouration as well as its twists and turns.
The car drops you off at one end of the canyon and picks you up on the other side, after a 3-4 hour hike (depending on the group's speed).

- Wadi El Malha
Wadi El Malha is a long valley/canyon that leads up to a beautiful small-palm oasis where you can view water bursting out of the heart of the mountain.
It lies approximately 20 kms off the Taba-Nuweibaa road, normally travelled 30 minutes by car followed by a 90-minute hike.
Optimum visiting seasons are Autumn, Winter, Spring and Summer mornings.

- Weshwashi Valley:
Midway to Wadi El Malha, the Weshwashi valley/opening can be found. Located around 7 kms off the Taba-Nuweibaa road, the brilliant lake lies in the middle of the mountains and is known for its seclusion, quiet and beautiful water post-flood season.
Optimum visiting times are late winter - spring due to the water's renewal.
