فتتاح مقبرتي جحوتي وحري من الدولة الحديثة بمنطقة ذراع أبو النجا بمدينة الأقصر، بعد الانتهاء من ترميمهما.
وقد تم اكتشاف المقبرتين خلال أعمال البعثة الأثرية المصرية الأسبانية المشتركة في عام 2003.
وكانت البعثة قد بدأت عام 2002، بمنطقة ذراع أبو النجا، أعمال الحفائر والترميم والتوثيق ونشر النتائج البحثية المتعلقة بالمقابر الموجودة بالمنطقة، كما نجحت في كشف النقاب عن عدة مقابر وتوابيت ومومياوات وكذلك الحديقة الجنائزية.
The tombs of Djehouty and Huri from the New Kingdom in Dra’ Abu El-Naga in Luxor, were opened after their restoration.
The two tombs were discovered during the work of the joint Egyptian-Spanish archaeological mission in 2003.
In 2002, the mission began excavation, restoration, documentation work at the site followed by publication of the research results related to the tombs in the area. The mission also succeeded in uncovering several tombs, coffins and mummies, as well as a funerary garden.
