The Spring Flowers Exhibition (معرض زهور الربيع) isn't just an event; it’s a century-old tradition.

Established in the historic Orman Garden,originally a "Khedivial Forest" designed in 1875,this festival is the oldest and largest of its kind in the region.

It’s where Cairo goes to breathe. From the rare "Lotus Pond" and ancient papyrus to over 600 species of exotic plants, it’s a living museum of color. 🌺🎨

Did you know the "Out of Office" status is actually an Egyptian invention? 🏛️☀️

Long before modern calendars, Ancient Egyptians celebrated Shemu, the season of birth and renewal.

They’d head to the banks of the Nile, offer salted fish to the gods, and spend the day outdoors to mark the return of life to the land.

Fast forward thousands of years, and the tradition remains in our DNA.

Whether you call it Shemu, Sham El Nessim, or Easter, the ritual is the same:

1- Get outside.
2- Eat well.
3- Leave the "work" to the monuments.
