NGC 1850 is a young double star cluster located in the Large Magellanic Cloud, about 168,000 light-years away.

The main cluster is around 50 million years old, while the smaller cluster beside it is only about 4 million years old. This combination is extremely unusual and has no known equivalent in our Milky Way.
