If you are planning on taking a holiday in Spain from the UK from Sunday. Please remember and respect the rules here. We have endured an actual lockdown and it has been a long road to get where we are. We take it very seriously here as it is serious. Buy enough masks for 1 every day, social distancing is 2 metres. No fu***ng around creating mass gatherings, thinking you can start protesting. All lives matter here and we don’t have statues that need protecting. If your hotel says the pool is closed it is CLOSED, the hotel rules are for everyone and yes that does include British. You are not exempt from the rules, noone cares that you are British, you are not more important that anyone else. The government are allowing you in but this was not a decision made by the people that live here.

Please don’t ruin all the hard work we have done and force us back into lockdown. I know many of the British have stuck to some kind of rule but the UK governments poorly made decisions may have made it not seem like this is a big deal but we have been through actual hardship and a real lockdown and we do not want to do it all again.

RESIDENTS OF TENERIFE!

As lock-down is ending some excursion companies will begin to re-open allowing us to enjoy our island again but many companies simply will not be able to afford to reopen until tourist arrive.

We have spoken to some of the companies we use about reduced prices for residents and many companies will be offering their biggest discounts!

Captain Hooks Excursions will not be selling excursions or profiting on the sales of excursions to residents during this time but would love to support the excursion companies that have helped support us over the years.

We will keep Tenerife residents up to date on special discounted offers as companies begin to re-open.
