End of October 2019.
Btw, if you are wondering if this period of the year is still good to cycle in Mallorca - the answer is YES ! (23 degrees and sun today, 1st of November !)

On one of our last days we did The iconic climb of the Formentor lighthouse.

It’s not an easy ride - at 35km you get almost 1,000m of elevation - but stunning views, perfect tarmac and beautiful shots feel like an almost instant reward.

We’ve settled for some sightseeing of Arta and chilling on the beach of Capdepera. The beauty of Mallorca lies in the fact that even off-bike you will still have things to do and see !

« We were based in Alcudia, in Port Pollenca Club. Very convenient accomodation with all-you-need when looking for completely worry-free cycling holiday experience. However if you prefer something smaller and local you will be disappointed - the fact that the whole complex has been build from scratch to accomodate the masses of cyclists coming to the island to discover it on 2 wheels is obvious. »

You can easily get there by plane, and the city itself has very many more secrets to share”

We arrived to the port of Pollenca very early in the morning (it was an overnight ferry). Of course, the first thing the guys did was shower, ride and BEER.
Short but very pleasant loop of +/- 80 km in the surroundings of Pollença„

[RETROSPECTIVE]
The Jour J - “The Day D” - we embarked the ferry from Toulon.
When going cycling in Mallorca you can either go completely worry-free and rent everything once you get there - you will not be disappointed with the choice.
Taking into account my state and the fact we will have to split into teams of non-cycling supporters & avid cycling amateurs, the solution with taking the car seemed more feasible at the time.
And so has the journey to the cycling paradise began !
