In Can Picafort, Guardia Civil reported investigating a 45-year-old man after officers allegedly found 14.5 kilos of ma*****na in his vehicle during a roadside stop.
According to the report, officers noticed unusual driving behaviour and then detected a strong smell before inspecting the car.
It is another example of how closely drug-related activity is being monitored across Mallorca.

Calvià in the news this week.

According to reports, a 39-year-old man was arrested in Calvià after investigators linked him to a package containing five kilos of ma*****na.
The case reportedly began after a business alerted Guardia Civil about a suspicious parcel. After further investigation, officers identified and located the alleged recipient.
Mallorca continues to see active police operations linked to drug trafficking, and this is one more reminder that the island is not only about beaches and sunsets.
