What a day! Another one.
Stage 6 of La Vuelta did not disappoint.

The Vuelta said this was a "fun stage" with the introduction of some dirt road.. and we know how road bikers love dirt roads!?!😮

The Bartolo climb (1st category) where a lovely steep (18% in spots!) 😮three kilometres on dirt before reaching the top, was certainly "different" rather than "fun"😂 Maybe they got the translation of the word wrong??😂

However, Pogi seemed to manage ok though Enric Mas did his best to chase him down at the finish and make him work for that win!👏

Bonus of the day, some of our riders got to meet Sepp Kuss. 🎉

And we are off!
A beautiful start in Monaco with its stunnning backdrop and elegance.

Then yesterday on Stage 3, we went from this gorgeous 30s temperatures 🌞 ride, into a chilly December in France with snow ❄and hail.. that stopped La Vuelta cold 🥶

La Vuelta, never, ever is it boring!😂
