I often got the question if there is a television in the house. Understanding that a house without a TV is not for everybody, we’ve created a lounge corner where young and old can relax and watch their favourite series or movies.

The projector to watch movies outside on the big screen is also still available!

Summer is coming!! And the only thing you need to do on your holiday is relax on the deck with stunning views and stay cool in the pool.

Get comfortable for the night after a relaxing day by the pool. All bedrooms are of cours equipped with air condition for a cool night.

The trick with the airco is to not put it too cold, around 23 degrees is usually more than cold enough. The airco switches off automatically when it has the right temperature and if it gets too warm, it will automatically switch on again.

It may have been quiet on our social media, but it has definitely not been at the finca.

We have welcomed many happy guest these past summers and during the winter period I’ve been busy with expanding the dream.

November 2021 we completely renovated the pool. Stairs and a platform in the pool were build before I had someone tile the entire pool.

December 2022 I build a new 40m2 terrace next to the pool so people can enjoy a bit more space.

And last spring we also painted the outside of the finca.

Right now we have already started preparing for next season as many bookings for this years have already been confirmed. Maybe we will see you this summer as well??

Fresh home grown organic avocados.

The avocado season is almost over and yesterday I picked the last few. In order to get them nice and soft you should let the sit for a while. Depending on the weather it can take up to 9 days before they are good to eat.

So if you decide to come next year in spring, you can pick your own avocados!

Besides Alhaurín el Grande, there are plenty of other villages in the area to visit. Here we have Istán, surrounded by nature and natural water springs. Take a little trip, stop in Istán for a nice lunch and perhaps finish the day with a refreshing swim in the ocean before heading home.

The lakes around Ardales en El Chorro are pretty amazing. Bring your family for a refreshing swim in the beautiful blue coloured water. Get your hands on a canoe or standup paddle board and you can enjoy the Spanish outdoor lifestyle.

And with plenty of beautiful hikes around the area, it’s a perfect place to spend the day.

These are the original doors from the house. But to get them back to this state, I had to scrape of many layers of paint. It took about 14 hours per door.

On top of that, one doors was originally a bedroom door at the front of the house. But because I added a second bathroom, I decided to remove that door and move it to the new bath room to have 4 similar doors along the hallway.

A big task, but looking at the end result I can say that I am more than pleased with it as it gives so much character to the house.

The bedroom got a new wooden door, next to the entrance door where I also installed a new wood door. This way everything matches perfectly.
