THE END OF AN ERA

The past weeks we have been working towards these days. The closing of Casa Volar bed & breakfast. What a Journey it was.

We had so many great guests, from 12 different countries. A lot of stories have been told, a lot of fun nights we had and a lot of nice breakfasts we made.

We want to thank everybody for staying with us, for believing in us and for trusting us for your holiday.

Thank you all. We had a blast. The time has come, Casa Volar is closed now. 🙏🏻

So many people have asked us if we are opening up something new in our new house, or if they could ever visit us again? The answer now is yes. Because we have some exciting news!

We are building a completely independent apartment at the back of our house. Our plans are amazing, but we need your help to fulfill them. Soon a crowdfunding pre-sale campaign will go live. However.. we would like to notice all our former guests and followers first and give them the opportunity to book their stay with us first.

All pre-bookings will be used for our soon-to-be-realized apartment.

At our stunning new finca in Alhaurin el Grande, we will realize an apartment of 40m2. An apartment for 3 people (4 in consultation) with the Mediterranean, Moroccan style.
The apartment will have a large open space with lots of light, surrounded by tropical plants and located by the pool. A place to relax, from where you can discover Andalusia.

To make this dream come true, we need your help! We ask for your trust in us and therefore we ask you to pre-finance your stay and vacation. For a reduced price you can already book your vacation for the spring of 2023. So that we can start building soon.

Our last 2 months at Casa Volar. It feels bitter sweet, but we do have some surprises and plans for the future though.

However.. that means this will be your final opportunity to book your stay with us for september or october.

It's hard to believe, tomorrow it will be September and the buzzing summer months are over 😱. It also means our last 2 months at Casa Volar. It feels bittersweet, but we do have some surprises and plans for the future though.

FEELING HOT 🥵🥵🥵

Andalusia can be quite hot in summer (understatement 🙈). That's we love to go to the beach. Not only because the water and seebreeze will cool you down, but also because temperature can be a lot lower on the coastline. For example: currently 40 degrees celcius in Coin but "only" 32 at the beach!
Get yourself an umbrella and a sunbed, grap a nice lunch and enjoy the beach 🏖.

FIRE EVERYWHERE

As some of you might have heard...a big wildfire is currently burning on the Sierra the Mijas. The mountain in between Mijas and the Valle de guadalhorce (Alhaurin el Grande, Alhaurin de la torre and Coin) It is devestating to see, big flames, a lot of smoke and several of our friends are being evacuated. This morning the fire seemed under control, but because of the wind and the high temperatures this afternoon again it was very active. Even the sky in Coín was much darker than this dramatic picture. 💔

For now we and our guests are safe at Casa Volar. And we hope and wish that everybody and every animal will find a place where they are safe too. Please let this fire be under controll very quickly 🙏🏻.
