Bread is one of the most important things in our tapas culture. Not only to elaborate the “pichos” but also to do the “moja moja” (as I call it). This is to deep some bread into the many sources the food comes with, so you do not leave a hint of any of the beautiful olive oil, or tomato source… bread is sometimes even more important than the food you are eating!
This is why you will like to know that in Alicante there are two bakeries that are ranked in the listing of Best bakeries in Spain 2019.
One is called BETTER PAN, horno artesano de hoy (near Gran Vía shopping mall) and the other one is called PAN DE ORO (https://www.facebook.com/Panaderia-pan-de-oro-507591555919664/) (Av. Condomina San Juan beach).
Do you think it would be worth a walk there to check how nice that bread is?

El pan es una de los productos más importantes en la cultura de tapas. No sólo para elaborar los pinchos, sino también para hacer el “moja moja”, como yo lo llamo. Es decir, para mojar las estupendas salsas que vienen con la comida. A veces es casi más importante el pan que la comida en si misma.
Por esta razón, te gustará saber que dos negocios alicantinos han conseguido colarse este año en el ranking de las mejores panaderías de todo el país y aparecer en La Ruta Española del Buen Pan 2019.
El horno artesano BETTER PAN, horno artesano de hoy, ubicado en la plaza del Alcalde Agatángelo Soler, repite por tercer año consecutivo en este reconocimiento otorgado por Panàtics y Pan de Calidad. Por su parte, PAN DE ORO (https://www.facebook.com/Panaderia-pan-de-oro-507591555919664/) emplazado en la avenida Condomina, se estrena en la lista.
