A recent visit to the Plaza de Toros in Alicante in April 2026. Great value with a portable audio speaker to bring the place to life. Very interesting with a museum and full access to the plaza.

Our morning stroll along the Paseo Maritimo in Almerimar, Almeria. Closely followed by a pleasant lunch in the port. Managed a couple of glasses of wine after finally finishing my chemo treatment and meds. A bit premature perhaps but 🤬 it!!! A lovely sunset to end the day. Alicante bound tomorrow.

Our recent trip to Córdoba for the first time in 20 years. Weren't impressed the first time as the impression was tainted by the bad weather and the Mezquita was under renovation. Much better this time and we could get around and see the sights. Visit to the Mezquita, Roman Bridge (a bit modern for Roman, methinks!) and the city. After a night in Córdoba we moved on to Cabra an hour south. Walked part of the Via Verde de Olivas and climbed aboard the foot plate on the old locomotives. Saw the rushing waters of the Fuente del Rio. We'll be back to Cabra to cycle the Via Verde and see more of the town. A good motorhome pitch there as well. Free to park and we like free!

As Deb was back in the UK I took myself off to Almeria and Murcia provinces.

Today we took a long walk from our camp site at Camping Bella Vista to the far side of Aguilas via the Promenade and town centre to Bahía del Hornillo. A stop on the way for a bit of brekky then a visit to the Embarcadora del Hornillo. A total of 12kms walked with meandering. Next stop, home tomorrow. We've had a pleasant 8 day trip but back to the rain! 🌧️🙁

Our walk along the coast from our moho park into Torrevieja and an impromptu tourist train ride to the salt lakes. We were expecting a tour round the town but were pleasantly surprised with the train and guided tour. Easily pleased. Tourist train w⚓s for an hour!!!
