Good news keeps coming in at Gato Clavo. 🌿🐾

The activity on the estate is incredible right now. On the one hand, the Iberian azure-winged magpies are raising their chicks in two different nests very close to each other. And both the lynxes and some of our guests are witnessing their defensive attacks, like the ones you can see here, leaving us truly beautiful images. 🐦✨

On the other hand, Viento is back. We had not seen him in the territory for almost a year, and it is always a joy to welcome him home again. He is already giving our visitors unforgettable moments. 🐾

And finally, perhaps the most important news of all: Oligisto continues to care for her cubs deep in the wildest part of the mountain, giving us images as beautiful and emotional as the ones we are sharing with you. 😻🌿

Life goes on at Gato Clavo. And every day reminds us why this place is so special. 🐾✨

Se nos acumulan las buenas noticias en Gato Clavo. 🌿🐾

La actividad en la finca está siendo increíble. Por un lado, los rabilargos están sacando adelante a sus pollos en dos nidos diferentes y muy próximos entre sí. Y tanto los linces como algunos de nuestros clientes están siendo testigos de sus ataques defensivos como nos mostró 😅, y como los que podéis ver en estas imágenes, dejándonos momentos realmente bellísimos. 🐦✨

Por otro lado, ha vuelto Viento. Hacía casi un año que no lo veíamos en el territorio, y siempre es una alegría darle de nuevo la bienvenida a casa. Ya está haciendo disfrutar muchísimo a todos los visitantes. 🐾

Y por último, quizá la noticia más importante: Oligisto sigue cuidando de su CAMADA NUMEROSA en lo más profundo del monte, regalándonos imágenes tan bonitas y emocionantes como las que os mostramos. 😻🌿

And this year, we can say it clearly: it could be a very special season.

Oligisto has a large litter, and Tanzanita may also be caring for cubs. As many of you know, Tanzanita was seen with a male during a late breeding period.

If nature follows its course, in the coming weeks we may start enjoying scenes like these again — images from past years that remind us why this place is so unique.

It is important to remember that the first reliable sightings of the cubs usually happen at night.

Y este año podemos decirlo con claridad: puede ser una temporada muy especial.

Natura 2000 is the largest coordinated network of protected natural areas in the world: more than 27,000 sites across Europe, created to protect the most valuable and threatened species and habitats.

At Gato Clavo, we are proud to be part of this exceptional territory in the Sierra de Andújar, where the Iberian lynx, the Mediterranean forest, the wild rabbit and many other species give meaning to this European conservation network.

For us, being in Natura 2000 is not just a recognition.

It is a responsibility.

Our work is based on habitat conservation, wild rabbit recovery, responsible ecotourism and respect for the natural behaviour of the Iberian lynx.

Today we celebrate nature, conservation and the privilege of protecting a place that belongs to something much bigger than ourselves.

La Red Natura 2000 es la mayor red coordinada de espacios naturales protegidos del mundo: más de 27.000 espacios en toda Europa, creada para proteger las especies y los hábitats más valiosos y amenazados.

En Gato Clavo nos sentimos profundamente orgullosos de formar parte de este territorio excepcional en la Sierra de Andújar, donde el lince ibérico, el monte mediterráneo, el conejo de monte y muchas otras especies dan sentido a esta gran red europea de conservación.

Para nosotros, estar en Red Natura 2000 no es solo un reconocimiento.

Es una responsabilidad.

Nuestro trabajo se basa en la conservación del hábitat, la recuperación del conejo de monte, el ecoturismo responsable y el respeto al comportamiento natural del lince ibérico.
