Scorporas are very similar to Fenegals (which we talked about last week). They both live on rocks and have very territorial behaviour. The one big difference is that Scorporas live in depths upto 80 metres.

This one looks like it needs some ice, no? We did put it on ice before moving on with our trip that day!

Bottom fishing at depths of more than 100 meters requieres heavy weights. Therefore we use electrically powered reels. Makes it easier

These are Fenegals. They live on rocks and are quite territorial - meaning they stay around the same place their whole life. You can fish for Fenegals in depths of upto 300 metres, with electrically powered reels.

Each of these fish is would set you back by about 30€ if you order it in a restaurant! On the trip when we caught the Fenegals in the photo, there were 5 of us so we had a very nice meal after our fishing trip.

Es Cau is a Menorquina, the typical mediterranean boat. But she's very special!

Es Cau is a wonderfully equipped boat, like a luxury yacht. Very comfortable and steady. We use the most modern equipment and tackle for fishing. Always in sight of the coast, up to 3 nautical miles and depths up to 80 meters.

Es Cau is particularly suitable for larger groups, events, parties, families, and those who prefer to have a lot of space.

The boat is located at Port Forum, Barcelona; very easy to reach from the city centre!
