20 down +/-300 to go! Removing plugs and screws from wheelhouse decking for Chineel's new sole.

Wheel restoration job for a local fisherman. When I got it it was held together with electrical tape, random screws and nails, and covered in engine grease. Numerous pieces cracked.
Cleaned it up, epoxied broken pieces. Many of the original nails had broken off, so I decided to plug the old holes and put it back together with epoxied fibreglass rods.
Finished off with teak oil. Would like to wax it, but we're out of wax. I'm sure it gets a coat of engine grease soon though 😜

I found a WILD BEEHIVE in a HURRICANE damaged house in the Bahamas. A freind is gonna come down and relocate it.

I was curious about this abandoned house, so decided to check it out and found this.

Another friend. This Brown Noddy spent some time inside the cabin, sleeping on my back, until I accidentally scared her when I woke up. She slept outside for about a week after that. She likes making frog noises, and let me stroke her. ♥️

Flying Gurnard! There were two, but I was cautious handling this one as I didn't know what it was, and the second got away. This was the biggest one, they are edible though, and not dangerous. Colours were very pretty under the water.

Passion Fruit seedling. Looks like I'm stuck here in Dominica until tourism starts again. So time to put down roots, literally 😋 Once she's bigger I'm going to train her to grow up the gallows and along the bimini.
