🌋💚 Some places you visit… and some places stay with you.

You arrive in El Golfo, step out of the bus and suddenly the landscape changes completely.

In front of you, an ancient volcanic crater opening towards the Atlantic.
Black and red volcanic earth. The ocean stretching into the distance. And right in the middle of it all, something that almost feels like it belongs on another planet: the Green Lake. 💚

For a few seconds, you simply stop and take it all in.

Because no matter how many photos you’ve seen of Lanzarote, some landscapes can only truly be understood when you’re standing in front of them.

The sound of the Atlantic, the volcanic colours, the wind and that incredible green contrasting with the dark lava… 🌊🌋

It’s one of those moments when you take out your phone for a photo, but end up looking at the view for just a little longer before pressing the button.

📍 El Golfo, Lanzarote

And you can experience this incredible place with us on our Grand Tour, South Tour and North & South Tour.

✨ Lanzarote isn’t just somewhere you visit. It’s somewhere you feel.

Would you love to experience this view for yourself? 💚

🌾 Did You Know?

Most people believe that El Jable, Lanzarote's famous white sand, comes from the Sahara Desert.

But the truth is far more fascinating.

The sand is made mainly of tiny fragments of seashells, calcareous algae and microscopic marine organisms. Over thousands of years, the Atlantic Ocean broke these remains down into fine biogenic sand, which was then carried inland by the island's trade winds.

Far from being just a beautiful landscape, El Jable has played a vital role in Lanzarote's history, helping local farmers grow crops by retaining moisture in the soil despite the island's dry climate.

A unique landscape shaped by the sea, the wind and time. 🌊💨

💛 Did you already know the story behind El Jable?

Teguise isn't just another stop on your itinerary. It's where Lanzarote's story began.

Long before the island became one of Europe's favourite holiday destinations, Teguise was its first capital. Today, every street, square and whitewashed building tells a story shaped by centuries of history.

If you're visiting on a Sunday, you'll experience one of the Canary Islands' most iconic open-air markets. But don't just come for the shopping.

✨ Wander through the cobbled streets.
🎶 Listen to traditional Canarian music.
🧺 Meet local artisans keeping centuries-old crafts alive.
🫒 Taste authentic local flavours.
💚 Discover handmade jewellery featuring Lanzarote's volcanic olivine.

Our local tip? Slow down.

Some of the best moments in Teguise happen away from the busiest streets—inside quiet courtyards, chatting with artisans, or simply enjoying a coffee while the village comes to life around you.

At First Minute Tours, we believe the best memories aren't made by rushing from one attraction to the next.

They're made by experiencing the island like a local.
