Jameos del Agua is part of a volcanic tunnel formed when Volcán de la Corona erupted 21,000 years ago. It is the closest section to the ocean that is open to the public, although it extends further out under the sea.
César Manrique transformed it into a place where nature and man meet in perfect harmony: pristine white walls, exhuberant green plants, crystal turquoise waters and the fiery mineral tones of the earth's crust.
Home to an endemic species of blind white crabs that live in an underground saltwater lagoon.
A place for us to admire this awesome act of nature, this work of art, to dine, listen to music, or to simply enjoy the peace and quiet.

I går var det siste dag på skolen, nå er vi på vei på påskeferie
