I was sitting in my barber's chair this week when we somehow started talking about travel... (go figure 😁)

He told me he and his fiance are planning trips to Mexico and Texas later this year, and then he said something that genuinely caught me off guard.

"I actually signed up for the Chase Sapphire Preferred because of your points strategy."

Not because I told him to chase first class.
Not because I promised free vacations.
Not because he wants to become a points expert.

Because he liked one simple idea:

Want your clothes to smell fresh after spending hours—or DAYS—in your suitcase?

Here's one of the easiest packing tricks I've used for years:

Throw a few dryer sheets in your luggage!

Whether I'm traveling for 2 days, 1 week, or 2 weeks, I usually:

👕 Place dryer sheets between my packing cubes
👟 Stuff one inside my shoes
🧳 Keep a couple at the bottom of my suitcase
💨 Pack travel-size wrinkle releaser for clothes that need a quick refresh

It takes up virtually ZERO space, weighs almost nothing, and helps keep everything smelling fresh throughout the trip.

Especially those shoes after walking 20,000+ steps around Europe. 😂

Small packing tricks like this add up to a much smoother trip.
