We’re back with our Recipe of the Month series, and this time, we’re sharing Suquet de Peix! 🇪🇸✨
Suquet de Peix is a traditional Catalan fisherman’s stew, originally made by fishermen using the freshest catch of the day. Slow-cooked with fish, potatoes, garlic, tomatoes, olive oil, and rich seafood broth, it’s a dish that’s simple in ingredients but full of deep Mediterranean flavor. 🐟🥔🧄✨
The word suquet comes from the Catalan word for “juice” or “broth,” which says everything about this dish, it’s all about the rich, comforting sauce that brings everything together.
You’ll often find suquet de peix served along the coast of Catalonia, especially in seaside towns where seafood and long shared lunches are part of everyday life.
Rustic, comforting, and deeply connected to the sea, this is Catalan cooking at its best. 💛

A day trip to Tibidabo is more than just the views… it’s the full experience. 🌄✨

High above Barcelona, you’ll find one of the most unique spots in the city, where peaceful nature meets a playful, nostalgic atmosphere.

There’s the charm of the vintage Tibidabo Amusement Park, adding a fun twist to the mountain, and right beside it, the stunning Temple of the Sacred Heart of Jesus with breathtaking (Temple Expiatori del Sagrat Cor) views stretching all the way over the city and the sea.

It’s the kind of place where you slow down, take it all in, and see Barcelona from a completely different perspective.
A little escape, just above the city. 💛

We’re back with our Recipe of the Month series, and this time, we’re sharing Pollastre Rostit! 🇪🇸✨
Pollastre rostit is a true Catalan comfort classic, slow-roasted chicken, cooked until tender and full of flavor. It’s typically prepared with garlic, onions, herbs, and a splash of wine or broth, creating a rich, savory sauce that brings everything together. 🍗🧄✨
Often enjoyed during Sundays or family gatherings, this dish is all about taking your time and letting simple ingredients do the work. Every household has its own version, passed down through generations.
Served with roasted potatoes, vegetables, or simply some crusty bread to soak up the sauce, pollastre rostit captures the heart of Catalan cooking: warm, rustic, and made to share.
Simple, comforting, and full of tradition. 💛
