Playa de los Lances is Tarifa’s most famous beach, it starts in the town and stretches for 10 km northwards. Though you’re never far from a cool chiringuito, the beach itself is wild and unspoilt, the perfect setting for surfing, swimming or sunbathing. The southern section of the beach is reserved solely for bathers.

Vera Beach - Almería

The beach of Vera is located to the north of the main tourist resorts of the Almería coastline in Spain. It stretches from Puerto Rey to Villaricos but the actual town of Vera lies slightly inland and is a lovely historic village well worth a visit.

Vera beach is unique in Spain in that it is not quite your normal beach resort because of a designated section which is one of Europe’s leading naturist and nudist beach destinations.

Vera Naturista is actually a tiny area in ‘El Playazo' designated to naturists. The rest of El Playazo, Playa Quitapellejos, Playa Puerto Rey and Las Marinas Playa are conventional beaches.

La Marina de la Torre Beach - Mojácar, Almería.

Located in a popular hotel zone and visited almost exclusively by international tourists, it offers a number of water sports such as kayaking, sailing, banana boating and wake boarding.

A handful of chiringuitos offer refreshment along the wide stretch of sandy shore which has rightfully earned a hallmark for cleanliness and service.

Laguna del Río Aguas, a protected natural area, is located at the end of this beach where the river meets the sea.

Mojácar Beaches, Almería

A total of 10 beaches paint the coastline of Mojácar, each of them tend to have a different look and are extraordinarily spectacular.

El Toyo - Retamar, Almería

Nice quiet beach never crowded with people.
There are a couple of beach bars to grab a cold drink and watch the world go by. There is a long promenade where you can take a walk and a few bars and restaurants at Plaza del Mar surrounded by a small lake.

Although there are 5 large hotels in the resort it is never very busy, the restaurants and bars in the town are very quiet throughout the year.

El Toyo is a nice place if all you want to do is relax and chill out.

San José, Almería

San José, town of Almería awarded with the Blue Flag award due to the quality of its facilities for tourists.

Its white buildings cope the curve of the beach with a colorful contrast between the blue of the water and the brownish of the sand.

One of the most popular places for visitors in spring and summer. This lively village has a great choice of tapas bars and restaurants. It is also a reference point for sport activities in the Natural Park of Cabo de Gata.

Accommodation is plentiful although in summer some places can be fairly expensive and are quickly filled.

Playa de los Mu***os - Carboneras, Almería

A famous beach for its unique pristine water, it has the length of about one kilometer with no hotels or any kind of construction in its surroundings.

It is an immersion in pure nature, an unspoiled place with spectacular scenery that will remain etched in your memory forever.

Carboneras is a perfect destination for nature lovers. Visitors can enjoy the views, or practice open-air sports including hiking or scuba diving.

Monsul Beach - San José, Almería.

Probably the best beach in Spain and it is located in the Natural Park of Cabo de Gata, very close to the picturesque town of San José.

This beach could not be more perfect thanks to the quality of its waters, magificient sand and colorful rock formations.

Its length is divided into two parts by a curious tombolo which features beautiful sea erosion.

In this unique corner, Hollywood directors left their footprint like Spielberg on his legendary movie 'Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade'
