Just came outside to witness what must be 50 vultures. Amazing to watch and some coming in really low. Come and stay with us for a chance to witness a fabulous display like this right outside the front door. More in comments

So we came up with our name because when we moved here we soon realised we shared our home with these darling little creatures as they lived under the eaves and came out every night to catch the moths under our canopy. We keep the light on all night so plenty of moths come for them to munch. So 2 days ago our biggest one Galileo came out for the first time after Brumation and clearly came into contact with 1 of our cats. Fortunately his ability to shed his tail obviously saved him but he was very vulnerable and on the floor. I think he had come down to the ground for the animals water as normally they stay high up on the walls and are safe from them. Anyway barely moving I scooped him up and made him a little home on a heat pad and this morning he is much more active so hopefully he will be on his way soon once he’s eaten some of the moths I’m catching for him. We couldn’t call ourselves Cave of the Geckos 🦎 and not help them when they need it. By the size of them they have been living here much longer than us ❤️💙💚

This morning we said goodbye to our first guests who had been here for 2 and a half months. Safe journey home to Elinor, Jeremy and darling little Peter ❤️
